- 17 June AB Harrewijn Prize celebration – Next week, on June 17th, we will celebrate at all the markets that we won the Ab Harrewijn Prize last month (https://www.abharrewijnprijs.nl). The Packaging-Free Shop will also be extra festive on Saturday, June 20th. Everyone who wishes to contribute to the festivities is hereby warmly encouraged! For example, we would love it if musicians brought their instruments to play.On this June 17th, Liselotte and a group of volunteers will be cooking in the Witte de Withstraat 127. So you can join in for a delicious communal meal around 18:30. Together, we have earned this prize.
- Cash payments now accepted at the package-free shop! You can now pay with cash every Saturday from 11:00 to 13:30 at the Gymzaal. Payment by PIN, bank transfer, and Timebank hours remains available as well. Want to know more? Then look here.
- Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, mark the “Strolling Through The Hague’s Gardens” weekend, which takes place once every two years. As a participant, you can visit 55 truly special gardens, most of which are not normally open to the public. A number of Lekkernassuh participants will also be opening their gardens to the public this weekend. Admission tickets are limited. See: www.struineninhaagsetuinen.nl
- Circle build-up at the Gymzaal is looking for coordinators: Interested? Or do you know anyone else who would like to volunteer on Wednesday mornings about once a month? Sign up on the volunteering schedule by filling out your name on the crossed-out line and join us for the Build-up. This way, we can train you as a build-up Coordinator. We expect you can do build-up once a month on wednesday morning.
- Lekkernassûh is looking for an additional Market Coordinator at the Gymzaal: To ensure that the market runs smoothly, there is a market coordinator every week. If you would like to contribute to a pleasant market experience and are not afraid to answer questions from our participants, the market assistants, or the cooking team, then join the Coordination Team. Interested? Drop by on Wednesday and ask for Jolande, Pierre, or Sander.
- Community chef: Lekkernassûh is looking for volunteer cooks to cook for the Lekkernassûh community on one (or more) Wednesdays. Are you interested? Please let us know at least a week prior via (woensdag-koks@Lekkernassuh.org)
- Musicon is looking for new volunteers: Do you want to help out once a month with building up or packing away the market, or help with the register? We are looking for Musiconners that want to join our fun team of volunteers. Interested? Speak to of our volunteers at the market on Wednesday!
- Spinozahof is also looking for helping hands: We’re looking for extra volunteers to join our nice team, who’d like to sometimes work a shift on Wednesday afternoons (setting up the market, running the cash register, packing up the market). You’ll be out in the fresh air in Spinozahof’s lovely garden, you choose when you can do a shift and you can use your worked hours to buy fruit or veggies. You can sign up via the ‘market schedule’ (schema marktverzorging doc) below.

You can use your Timebank hours to pay for your vegetable package, but also, for example, cheese or products from the package-free store. You earn Timebank hours by, for example, helping on the market. Want to know more? Then look here.
Package-free shop
