Lekkernassûh was born out of the idea that it would be good to offer an alternative to long, global food chains. They are often vulnerable and, to put it mildly, not always pleasant for people, animals and the earth.
We are building an alternative that does work: Community building. In the case of Lekkernassûh, this is a community of farmers and citizens who jointly take care of our food. With direct lines to and more security of exsistence for farmers who produce food with love and respect for nature.
Food is essential at this moment and healthy food is even more important. Fear of scarcity creates empty shelves, while there is plenty of food available at the farmers! We are an important part of their sales channel for them, which is why it is – especially now – so important to get your vegetables from Lekkernassûh.
We will therefore do everything to ensure that all that tasty and healthy food ends up on your table. The participants want that too: A lot of people have registered for a vegetable package this week and in the last few days we have received a lot of new registrations.
A lot of creativity and community spirit is unleashed – and that is nice to see. We all come up with useful solutions so that the market can continue to operate, the Lekkernassûh are realised and we connect with each other.
