Dear people,
What a beautiful and eventful year 2024 was for Lekkernassûh. After the renovation of the Gymzaal, we were proud to return with our biggest market to The Gymzaal on 3 January 2024. And how beautiful it turned out! No longer wearing an extra warm jumper, but in a well-insulated food hall, ready for the future. Throughout the year, enthusiastic volunteers have continued working to connect the dots at The Gymzaal. For which many thanks!
In April, we were pleased to welcome our ally De Weggeefwinkel to the Gymzaal.
This year, we unfortunately said goodbye to the location on Mozartlaan, which closed permanently in May.
Around that time, initial preparations also began for the 10th anniversary of Lekkernassûh, because 10 years of Lekkernassûh, that had to be celebrated! A group of enthusiastic volunteers made sure that a wonderful celebration was organised at each location on 5 October!
And after years of having a stable package price, this year we could not avoid increasing our package price, to keep Lekkernassûh healthy in the future as well.
In short, we look back on a great year with changes and celebrations. We would like to thank everyone very much for being part of our community. Food connects and together we contribute to a fair and sustainable food chain.
We look forward to 2025, when pick-up point Musicon will become a location, there is still plenty of work to be done in the Gymzaal and we look forward to new challenges and celebrations together.
