🥬 The leaves are popping out of the ground and therefore a package with lots of leafy greens and additional portions in the loose sale. So time for a nice fresh salad!

And have you heard of our fruit package? For 10 euros, you order your fruit package just like you order a vegetable package, in your personal profile. Read further ins and outs about the fruit package here..

• 1 bunch Radish | Beleaf, ‘S gravezande OR Icicle radish | Bramenhorst in Wassenaar
• 400 grams White Sweet Potato | de Waog in Neer
• 1 head Romaine lettuce | de Waog in Neer
• 200 grams Chestnut Mushrooms | Heereco in Uden
• 1 bunch of mint | Kievit in Katwijk aan Zee

🍏 In next Wednesday’s fruit package you’ll find:

• Bananas (DomRep)
• Apples (Netherlands)
• Oranges (Spain)
• Watermeleon (Spain)

NB: Of each fruit variety, we try to indicate the grower with an explanation of the variety. See explanation on our website if no grower is mentioned.

Loose sales: Spinach from Kievit in Katwijk aan Zee, and Asian Slamix (with leaf mustard, wasabino, rocket, turnip greens and mesclun) from Hoeve Biesland in Delfgauw on loose sale. And, of course, eggs, bread, cheese and more.

Gymzaal open on Tuesdays : The Gymzaal opens its doors to the community. Join us between 10 AM and 6 PM for flexible work, socializing, enjoying tea or coffee, participating in activities, sharing a potluck lunch, being creative, and more. Our only rule is that you clean up after yourself before you leave. If you’re interested in helping out as a host so we can extend our hours, please email info@lokaalvoedseldenhaag.nl. You are warmly welcome! Find out more at this link.

Excursion Kieviet, Wijdehorst en Bramenhorst: On 10th we get an exclusive tour at the local (bio) farms where we get our vegetables! More info and how to apply can be found on the website.

Web service vacancy: With some urgency, the web service team is looking for new people! For social media, offline communication, or web services. Curious? Check the vacature.

Location Toverbosch is urgently looking for volunteers: Help is especially needed at the till. But in addition, the venues could use a hand, for example, in taking deliveries on Wednesday morning, setting up and dismantling the market or coordinating the market on Wednesday afternoon. Paying with Timebank hoursYou can use your Timebank hours to pay for your vegetable package, but also, for example, cheese or products from the packaging-free store. You earn Timebank hours by, for example, helping on the market. Knowing more? Then look here.

Do you have a surplus of Timebank hours? Please spend them at the market or package-free shop, or (if you don’t manage to spend them all), please donate them to Lekkernassuh! Ater the summer, we have a big shortage of hours, because there are more going out than coming back in.

Package-free shop
The package-free shop is open every Saturday from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Gymzaal. Longer opening hours call for more volunteers. Would you like to help sometime? Register via this link. More information about the store can be found here.
