In the package you’ll find: stew pumpkin, beet, parsnip and pears until soft, add mushrooms and finally wilt Chinese cabbage and baby spinach.You can get the split peas at our packaging-free store (see the price list here), open every Saturday from 11 am to 1:30 pm to provide everyone with packaging-free pasta, grains, beans, nuts, dried fruit, and more! These items are purchased in bulk from suppliers who do not use pesticides or artificial fertilizers, so come and give them a try!

Don’t forget to change your status before Sunday 8pm, if needed. Enjoy!

  • Important announcement: LFor your information: below is the overview of Lekkernassûh’s holiday schedule. Please mark these dates and feel free to share them in your communications.
  • Last opening days of 2025
    • The final Lekkernassûh market of the year will be on Wednesday, 17 December.
    • The Packaging-Free Shop will be open for the last time on Saturday, 20 December.
  • Holiday closures
    • There will be no market on Wednesday, 24 December and Wednesday, 31 December.
    • The Packaging-Free Shop will be closed on Saturday, 27 December.
  • Reopening in the new year
    • The Packaging-Free Shop will reopen on Saturday, 3 January.
    • The market will restart on Wednesday, 7 January.
  • Delivery bikers wanted: Lekkernassûh likes to restart the pick-up points delivery. The packages are delivered by Lekkernassûh bikers. To make this possible Lekkernassûh plans to set up a bikers poule. For this poule we look for people that are willing to make 1 or 2 rides on Wednesdays by (electric) carrier cycle.   • Lekkernassûh is looking for: an additional Market Coordinator. Every Wednesday, there is a market on Witte de Withstraat. To ensure that the market runs smoothly, there is a market coordinator every week. The market coordination team is currently looking for reinforcement in the form of an additional coordinator. If you would like to contribute to a pleasant market experience and are not afraid to answer questions from our participants, the market assistants, or the cooking team, then join the Coordination Team. Want to know more, or would you like to drop for a visit? Drop by on Wednesday and ask for Jolande, Pierre, or Sander.
  • Community chef: Lekkernassûh is looking for volunteer cooks to cook for the Lekkernassûh community on one (or more) Wednesdays. Are you interested? Please let us know at least a week prior via (woensdag-koks@Lekkernassuh.org)
  • Food film festival: The FFF will take place in The Hague from 10 November to 10 December. Be inspired! Check here for dates and locations.
  • Fermentation Workshop: 3 Tuesday evenings in January, see the agenda for more info!
  • Do you have a surplus of Timebank hours? Please spend them at the market or package-free shop, or (if you don’t manage to spend them all), please donate them to Lekkernassuh! Or to the solidarity project! After the summer, we have a big shortage of hours, because there are more going out than coming back in.

  • Start the Week Qigong:  Classes resume on Monday, 5 January at 9:00, and the first session is offered as a free trial! 
  • January 6, 13, and 20 | 7:00-9:00 | Fermentation workshop in the Gymzaal, by Erik Trip (microbiologist) and Barend Blom (chef at Bonboon) – We will be fermenting fruit and vegetables. After this workshop, you will be able to make your own sauerkraut or kimchi, for example, and you will have been introduced to koji. The cost is €50 per person for the entire workshop, including ingredients. There is room for 20 participants. First come, first served. Register by emailing eriktrip123@gmail.com.

Package-free shop
